What actually works with children — sorted by age, and with rainy-day backups. We've taken our guests' kids to most of these and learned which ones survive a hot afternoon.
Samui isn't theme-park island. There aren't 40 things to do — there are about 15 that genuinely work with children, and a couple of dozen overpriced traps. This page covers what we recommend.

Ages 2-10
Small but well-kept waterpark in Lamai. Best for younger kids — older children may find it small.
Ages 5+
Inflatable obstacle course on the lake at Choeng Mon. Older kids love it; strict life-jacket policy.
Ages 6+
Hilltop garden of stone statues. Drive there in a 4x4. Pack water. Best in cooler months.
Ages 4+
Easy 5-minute walk from the car park. Shallow pool, OK for paddling. Avoid right after heavy rain.
Ages 6+
30-minute jungle walk. Better for older kids. Watch the algae-covered rocks.
